Mom2Mom led by Heather Bess
Mom2Mom is a gathering of women in all stages of motherhood to connect and partner together as they seek Christ and His Word. We will be considering how God is using the circumstances of your parenting to drive you into dependence on Him! We will be using the book Treasuring Christ When Your Hands Are Full by Gloria Furman as a springboard for conversation and connection. Join us as we meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. Cost is $10.00 for book.
Hosea: God’s Persistent Love led by Debra Nicolds
Go and marry a prostitute.” These are the first words God spoke to his prophet Hosea. Why would he ask this of one of his special spokesman? Because he wanted to teach Hosea, the nation of Israel and all of us today a lesson we would not forget. This a lesson is painful yet glorious; a lesson of love, pursuit, and redemption. There is no fee for this class.
Ephesians led by Sandy Garman
The book of Ephesians is a foundational book for the Christian Life. The Apostle Paul tells us who we are and how to live in the light of this knowledge. The good news Paul presents will radically transform how we view ourselves and our daily responsibilities. There is no fee for this class.

Trusting God Even When It Hurts led by Janine Kramer
Adversity is hard to endure and can even be harder to understand. If God were really in control, why would He allow that tragic auto accident or crucial job loss? As we begin to explore the scope of God’s power over nations, nature, and the details of our lives, we’ll begin to acknowledge His loving sovereignty . And as you come to know Him better, you’ll find ourselves trusting Him more completely—even when life hurts. Cost is $10 for discussion guide. Book is optional and $13.
Exalt! Choir begins September 2 at 6:30pm
The new season of Exalt! choir is already promising to be great! We are more than just a group of people who love to sing. We are on the front line in battle raising the banner of the Lord before the warriors who fight for His name.We will begin in September to assume our position and exalt His name together as Ps 34:3 declares. We meet on Tuesdays at 6:30pm. Contact Shelanie Voorheis at 238-4419 or email@example.com .
The Dinners for 6+2 Ministry is a wonderful way for members and friends of First Baptist Church to get to know each other better. Throughout August, you can sign up for Dinners for 6 +2 ministry as a single person, or a couple. You will be scheduled for 3 gatherings (with 4 other people who you will grow to know and love) between September—December. As a host for one dinner, you will provide the entree at your home. As a guest for 2 other dinners, you will be asked to take one item to someone else’s home. What is the +2? We are encouraging you to invite a +2 of newcomers, guests, neighbors, or co-workers to each of your dinners. Hopefully your +2 will be someone you have just met or want to meet. Think outside your comfort zone and be sure to include singles, widows and widowers. You can sign up between services in courtyard or online on the church web site at fbcpasorobles.org. Contact Scott Bess or Sandy Garman for more information at 805-238-4419.
A way to connect, love, learn and serve within the body of Christ.
Let’s face it. Getting to know people can be hard work. Relationships take time and yet when we make the effort to connect with others we are blessed and so are they.
First Baptist Church wants to help you connect with other people within our body to help you love, learn, serve, pray, and care for one another. The best way to do this is through our T360 Small Groups. If you desire to be part of one of these Transformation Groups or just want more information, please fill out the form on this site or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
